There were plenty of nerves among the students waiting in the School Assembly Hall the other day as those gathered waited for twelve o’clock, and the presentation of the diplomas from the different exams of Cambridge ESOL which the students had sat in June.
The presentation ceremony was opened by Beatriz Nieto Cuesta, the Coordinator of the English Department, who congratulated the pupils in the name of their teachers for their success and praised the hard work which was needed to pass these exams.
The diplomas were presented by Gregorio García, Head teacher of the school, assited by Beatriz Nieto, who handed each student a white carnation. Along with their diploma, each student received a letter of congratulation signed by the school management.
The ceremony was closed by David Bradshaw, Head of Modern Languages, who congratulated the students again and urged them to continue working hard with a view to achieving similar success in the following exams in the near future.
Congratulations to all of you, and we hope to see you again in the presentation at the same time next year!
